Is terconazole vaginal crm. more effective than fluconazole 150mg tab. for getting rid of a recurring yeast infection?

For about three years now i have been getting re-curring yeast infections;usually about two a month. It is getting extremely frusting because i have tried creams, diflucan, yogurt, candida diet from "the Yeast Connection" book, probiotics, acidophillus, and organic raw apple cider. I have spoken to my gyn several times, but he just writes a script for diflucan, cream, and switches my b/c.Is terconazole 0.4%  more effective than flconazole150mg? Can yeast infections get cured for ever?
