Bio

Dan Jaris is a WebMD health coach, where he provides individuals with the resources, information, and motivation they need to promote better health and wellness. He helps participants in health coaching identify at-risk behaviors and helps them to alter modifiable lifestyle factors through a goal-setting process.

Dan graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science in dietetics & nutrition as well as exercise science & fitness management. Although currently with WebMD, he has previous work experience in a hospital-setting with nutrition services and in a strength and conditioning facility helping to train amateur and professional athletes of all ages. Dan is currently working part time towards a master of public health in nutrition from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with an expected graduation date in 2013.  

During his leisure time, Dan enjoys an active lifestyle through running, strength training, and hiking. He is especially passionate with running, having completed many races and events such as half marathons and other obstacle races.
