Bio

Yvette Smith, MD, MPH, is a physician in Atlanta. After receiving a degree in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. She completed her work in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical College of Virginia, where she stayed for a short time as a faculty member.

Her entire career has reflected her love of teaching. Ob-gyn allowed her to become involved with teaching women about the many phases of their lives. Educational opportunities have included managing menstrual periods, avoiding pregnancy, trying for pregnancy, PMS, menopause, and many more. She has been privileged to lecture on many of these topics in the Atlanta area.
