David J. Berkoff, MD, is a team physician for Duke University Athletics and assistant professor of surgery at the Duke University School of Medicine.

Berkoff is a board-certified sports medicine and emergency medicine specialist with a focus on the maintaining the health and improving the performance of marathon runners, cyclists, and triathletes, as well as the non-operative treatment of chronic orthopaedic conditions such as chronic tendinopathies (tendon injuries).
