Bio
Dr. Steven Parker (1947-2009) is a former WebMD Pediatrics expert. Parker had been a pediatrician for 20 years. He was in private practice in primary care pediatrics for many years before joining Boston Medical Center. He directed the division of behavioral and developmental pediatrics at Boston Medical Center and was an associate professor of pediatrics at Boston University School of Medicine. He also ran a holistic pediatric primary care clinic for children with chronic medical and developmental problems.
Parker co-authored -- with Dr. Spock -- the 1998 edition of Dr. Spock's Baby and Child Care. He also wrote a textbook for pediatricians entitled Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics: A Handbook for Primary Care.
