Bio

Hope Uronis’s clinical practice is focused on the care of patients with gastrointestinal cancers.  Her research interests include clinical trials and drug development, patient outcomes, and the management of symptoms with palliative care.

She is a member of the Duke Cancer Care Research Program, which provides a uniquely personalized approach to cancer care to best meet the needs of each patient.  Through clinical studies, a centralized data system, new models of care, and quality improvement methods, Uronis seeks to enhance patients' quality of life, better manage cancer-related symptoms, and improve the experience of receiving medical treatment for cancer.
