Bio

Andrew Adesman, MD, is a pediatrician, author, educator, and father. His interest in parenting myths led him to write BabyFacts: the Truth about Your Child's Health from Newborn through Preschool. This new and unique book debunks more than 165 common parenting misconceptions about children's health, growth, and development.  

When Adesman is not busting parenting myths, he's chief of developmental & behavioral pediatrics at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York in New Hyde Park. Adesman is board certified in pediatrics, neurodevelopmental disabilities, and developmental & behavioral pediatrics, and is associate professor of clinical pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
