Q.

When to see a doctor for a cough?

I did not have a cold very recently and no other symptoms of a cold (no runny nose, no fever, no stomach ache, not fatigued). There's a constant tickling sensation around the larynx for past 10 days. I feel the need to cough non-stop but coughing does not relieve the feeling and no mucus comes up when I do. At times I cough so hard I almost puke and have troubles sleeping at night. Tried steam, tea, Halls w/ no luck.

Should I see a doctor about this? I do not want them to just tell me to go home.
