I have A-Fib and the Dr recommends an Ablasion. Does Medicare cover this procedure.

If you meet medical criteria for the procedure, yes, it would be covered. Work with your doctor to confirm and to obtain a referral for the procedure. That will likely be necessary in order to have it covered.


If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, the best place to start is by calling your insurance company to confirm what's covered. For traditional Medicare you can contact Medicare directly at 1-800-Medicare.
