Q.

how long do tonsils usually stay swollen after a bout of strep/mono infection. it's been a month now and mine are still

I had some sort of viral or bacterial infection in early Oct. I feel great now but tonsils are still enlarged the only problem they may impair a word or so when speaking. I went to a ENT who said this is normal they could stay swollen another month or two! Does this sound accurate? He really felt i had the EB virus. I just want confirmation.
