I tore a muscle in shoulder blade doing a new free weight exercise at the gym a week ago. It started hurting about a day and half later. I couldn't breathe deeply. I iced it, took Aleve and rested a few days. I went back to gym. I did different isolated arm exercises thinking it was safe since I didn't move the shoulder blade area. But again, a day and a half later, the pain in shoulder blade came back, but this time a deeper constant burning pain. I can't sleep. Is it time to see a DR?
