intermittent pain in upper left thigh after having meniscus repair surgery.

 hi.  i had L meniscus tear repaired orthoscopically 10 days ago. 3 days go by after surgery and all seems well and all of a sudden i start getting these intense very painful hot feeling 8 to 15 second pain cramps in my thigh of same L leg and then the thigh stays very sore for about 8-10 min. then im fine till the next one comes on. these are all brought on by any sort of the leg movement made after sitting or sleeping.  waking up to these bolts of pain is unbearable.
