Hi I found this after doing some research.

There are lots of women who have had it fall out.

But This bit is from the horses mouth,

This is unlikely but should the system come out either completely or partially there may be some signs to alert you, i.e. an unusual increase in bleeding, possibly some pain, or you or your partner can feel the lower end of the system itself or the removal threads seem longer. The return of your normal periods may also indicate the system has been expelled and not noticed. If Mirena comes out completely or partially, you will not be protected against pregnancy. Contact your Doctor as soon as possible and use another reliable contraceptive method until you see your Doctor.

I think all this should help.

Good Luck
