can a head injury cause autism?

baby of 1 year hit head hard on front of head like i have never heard after raising 3 children no outwards signs a of cut or bruising. child now 9 just diagnosed with autism. could this injury have anything to do with it?

There are no studies that show a relationship from a childhood head injury to true autism, but that is something that a neurologist should answer, since there are many different types of autism and not all head injuries are "innocent".
