Q.

What is causing the abdominal swelling on my right side?

My abdomen is noticeably swollen on my rt side from just below the rib cage to just above the pelvis.

I have had an abdominal ultrasound, CAT scan, colonoscopy, and lower back xray and all these have shown is sludge in the gall bladder and a fatty liver.  Blood work shows normal liver function.

There is still no diagnosis for the swelling. Prognosis from one Dr. is that a nerve that goes from the upper spine to the abdomen may be pinched. He  referred me to a neurologist. Any thoughts?
