can genital herpes be transmitted through oral sex?

I am a woman with genital herpes.  Can my partner get it from performing oral sex on me?  Can I give it to him while performing oral sex on him?

I'm no expert but yes it is possible. even when breakouts are not apparent because there are body fluids from the genital area coming in contact with the mouth it is possible. Even more so when there is an outbreak even if its not full blown yet (you may just be itching).
