You will recover your strength in time, but doing all of the things that your mother told you to do: eat well, get plenty of rest, stay hydrated, and be patient.  Pneumonia can be a minor inconvenience or it can really put you down for the count.

Follow your medical provider’s instructions, finish all of your prescribed medications, and allow your immune system an opportunity to recover. Getting better takes time. Full recovery may not be as fast and smooth as we would like, but as long as you are feeling better each day, you will soon be your old self again.
