how long does an amoxicillin induced rash last in mononucleosis cases?

I developed a rash 7 days after taking amoxicillin for a sinus infection. On the day after I was diagnosed with mononucleosis, I broke out in the rash, and I stopped taking the amoxicillin immediately. I was prescribed prednisone, and it is now three days later, and the rash is not subsiding. How long will this last?
