i had a fasting blood work done. It showed that my glucose level after fasting was 132. what does this mean?

A.

A fasting blood glucose test is often used in diagnosing diabetes. If a person has 2 separate fasting blood glucose levels greater than or equal to 126 mg/dL it often indicates diabetes. Because your test result is over 125, it would be good to discuss your result with your doctor. Here's a link to an article with more information about diabetes testing.
