what age is best for gastric bypass

I am 52 years old and am considering gastric bypass surgery, am I too old for this type of surgery?

In this information about the Pros and Cons of Weight Loss Surgery, there is a section on who is a candidate.  It doesn't mention anyting about age here, so I'd think the best advice would be to talk to your doctor about the options that would work best for you.
