What can I do to keep from farting so much?

Farts are gas produced during digestion, so it depends on what is causing it. If you can identify a certain foods (bean, eggs) or food groups (carbohydrates, sugars) that seem to be the underlying culprit, then simply eliminating them from your diet would.

Since it's really just air at the end of the day, here are some thing that might work!

  • Don't chew gum or eat hard candy.
  • Slow down when you are eating.
  • If you wear dentures, make sure they fit.
