My 4 year old grandson is wetting his bed. My daughter wants to buy him Pull-ups but I think they’re embarrassing. Help!

New accidents in a child who had been previously dry consistently at night can be from a medical problem like an infection. That needs to be looked for.

Still, most of the time in a four-year-old there is nomedical problem. They're just accidents. That's nothing to be mad about.

I don't really understand why someone thinks putting a 4 year old in pull-ups is embarrassing-- unless the adult says something like"here's diapers for the baby." That would be a very cruel thing to say. Many 4 year olds wear pull ups at night and they're not embarrassed about it unless adults are making them embarrassed.
