Yes, some anti-wrinkle products sold over the counter are effective. The ingredients that make your skin look more beautiful can be expensive, but they don't have to be. Look for products that contain antioxidant vitamins A (retinol), C, and E; scientifically and clinically, these antioxidants help stop free-radical damage that leads to fine lines and wrinkles.

Also, ingredients such as Matrixyl 3000, a peptide, contribute to the production of collagen and elastin. They can plump up the skin matrix and actually make the skin visibly look younger. Other ingredients, such as licorice extract and niacin, can help fight age spots that lead to uneven skin tone.

The problem is finding the products that have the above ingredients in the right concentration to produce results.

The longstanding results are definitely noticeable. It typically takes at least two to four weeks before you begin to see results, so remember to wear sunscreen and start now!
