Visiting the Epilepsy Foundation web site is a good idea to look up each state's rules regarding driving. In general, anyone who's seizures are controlled (even if taking anti-epileptic medicine) can get a driver's license. How long you must be seizure free in order to qualify for a driver's license varies between states, but usually is between 3 and 12 months.
