I'm not aware of any type of weight loss injection, but we want to make sure that patients understand that. Weight loss doesn't have to come in a pill, but one thing we should do is adjust our lifestyle and that will include things like exercising. Very simple to do, even walking for half-an-hour a day can actually help you lose weight.

You should buy a pedometer and track your progress and try to do 10,000 steps a day.

They have found that when you do that, you actually have gradual weight loss, incorporating healthy changes in your diet, not having a lot of fatty foods, making better choices at restaurants, making salads. There's a lot of good things out there, a nutritional base that can help you lose weight too. So we don't want to run away to medication but there are currently no injections for weight loss.
