Hydrogen peroxide is a great product to use.

It's one of those things that if you have it around the house, it's not going to hurt or harm a cut, it's going to actually bubble up and make it kind of like an antibacterial wash. But if you have soap and water, it's just as good. So if you don't have hydrogen peroxide, it's okay, just a little soap and water will do the trick.
