There are many normal aches and pains of pregnancy. Many women suffer from "restless leg syndrome" during the night and have many leg cramps.

Another problem that women suffer from is "sciatica" pain. This pain is typically noted to start in the buttock and go down the back of the leg. This, at times, can be very uncomfortable. This is related compression of the nerve supply from the enlarged uterus.

The other problem that can occur is related to lumbar disc problems, which can be more severe and cause possible significant problems.
